Randall L Richards

Co Founder/CEO

As co-founder of Push Price, LLC, Randall brings an extensive and uniquely valuable set of skills and experience.

Mr. Richards has over 10 years of experience as the owner of In Store Solutions, LLC, coordinating in-store promotions for Walmart, Sam’s Club, and other grocers across America. He also created the Fog X, a multi-million dollar system that converts industrial food waste from major food processing companies into clean, low-carbon feedstock for renewable fuels. Randall co-founded a company to utilize this system nationally.

Prior to these ventures, he owned and operated a successful national publishing and coupon business, producing over 100 million direct mail coupons per year.

Randall’s expertise in these areas led him to participate in formulating a cutting-edge, patent-pending app technology for consumer grocery purchasing. Push Price aims to reduce food waste in grocery stores, lower consumers’ overall food costs, and improve the bottom line for participating grocery chains without increasing their top-line prices.

Logan Hooyer

Co-Founder

As the co-founder of Push Price, Mr. Hooyer brings extensive management and finance expertise in the agriculture and food waste-to-energy industries. He understands the critical importance of reducing food waste for environmental sustainability.

For the past decade, Mr. Hooyer has dedicated his efforts to diverting food waste from landfills and transforming it into valuable energy products. At Renewable Energy Group (now Chevron/REG) and St. Paul Commodities, he has overseen the trading of hundreds of millions of gallons of food waste.

Mr. Hooyer holds a Master of Business Administration from the Ivy College of Business at Iowa State University, and bachelor’s degrees in Real Estate and Finance from the University of Northern Iowa. He has accumulated 15 years of management experience in the agriculture, food production, and food waste sectors. Earlier in his career, he was involved in the production and processing of raw inputs at Archer Daniels Midland.

Mr. Hooyer looks forward to leveraging Push Price’s advanced technology to tackle new challenges and continue enhancing efficiencies in the food industry.

Maribeth Klein

VP Store Relations

Ms. Klein serves as our VP of Store Relations. She has 15 years of experience in the grocery business, having worked with companies including General Mills, Lloyds, and Tombstone.

As a Senior District Manager with a major food company, she played a key role in driving the company’s growth from $40 million to $240 million. Ms. Klein worked closely with grocery store personnel, from store-level employees to District Managers, ensuring optimal presentation of her company’s products. Her efforts on a national level earned her numerous awards.

Ms. Klein excels at facilitating communication between Push Price and our grocery chain partners and their employees at every level.

Paula D’Amico

Technical Executive

Paula D’Amico is a technical executive with a robust background in on-premise, cloud, and hybrid solutions supporting database and application development, product management, and analytics initiatives. Her technical expertise is complemented by a strong financial and operational background, enabling her to apply technology effectively to solve real-world business problems.

She is an accomplished data engineer and a leader in IT security, risk and governance, business intelligence, and analytics, with over 30 years of experience in information technology. Paula has successfully implemented Agile product development and strategic initiatives.

Paula’s deep technical expertise and passion for data drive her work in big data and industry-wide data models. She has experience working for Priceline WebHouse Club, focusing on groceries and gas, and is knowledgeable in “name-your-own-price” technology, which helps bargain-conscious consumers save money. Paula designed and architected dynamic pricing models for Priceline and has extensive experience with data loads from various sources, ensuring fast and reliable data consumption.

Dave Petrik

Advisory Board Member

Petrik is a seasoned executive with over 35 years of experience in the consumer-packaged goods industry. He served as General Region Manager in Los Angeles with Kraft Foods until January 1998. Subsequently, he joined Lloyds BBQ as VP of Sales, where he played a key role in positioning the company for its sale to General Mills in late 1999. Under General Mills, Petrik contributed to significant growth in distribution and sales for Lloyds BBQ until January 2003.

Afterward, Petrik rejoined the private equity group that sold Lloyds to General Mills and was instrumental in the acquisition of Wisconsin Cheese Group (WCG). As Sr. VP of Sales and Marketing at WCG, he led the company to a swift sale, more than doubling the original investment within two years through an aggressive growth strategy. Following the sale, he became the COO and Sr. VP of Sales and Marketing for WCG under new ownership until March 2020. During this period, Petrik reported directly to the chairman of the board and the entire board of the PE group. With no CEO or President, Petrik, as COO, was the highest-ranking officer at WCG.

Under his leadership, the company grew sixfold through organic growth—brand development, customer, and geographic expansion—and the acquisition of five strategic companies, all spearheaded by Petrik. He possesses extensive knowledge in revenue segments, including Retail, Club and Mass, and B2B. Additionally, he has expertise in multiple distribution methods, such as DSD, Distributor (both broad line and boutique), and broker/warehouse.

Petrik has significant P&L management experience and has consistently demonstrated the ability to reduce costs while driving top-line growth.

Al Richey

Advisory Board Member

Al Richey is a seasoned retail business leader with over 30 years of experience driving sales and operational excellence in the supermarket industry. Throughout his career, he has held a variety of positions of increasing responsibility, including multi-banner retail operations leadership with an emphasis on workforce management, guest satisfaction, contract utilization, and comprehensive in-store applications.

As a senior executive with Albertsons, a $7.2 billion enterprise with 420 stores, Mr. Richey built and led a team of 40 and reported to the Senior Vice President of Operations in both the Southern California and Intermountain West divisions.

In his role as Division Finance Manager, Mr. Richey built and led a team of six energized, goal-oriented associates, reporting directly to the Division President. His responsibilities included:

Developing three-year strategic sales and marketing plans.
Partnering with Store Operations and Marketing Executives to develop annual and quarterly operating plans and business reviews.
Preparing weekly and quarterly financial forecasts and identifying and analyzing profit opportunities for Executive Management.
Developing and producing key operating performance reports and recommending corrective actions based on rigorous, fact-based analysis.
Reviewing and analyzing Return on Investment Capital (ROIC) for new, closed, and loss stores, acquisitions, and other related events.
Mr. Richey is excited to be a part of the Push Price advisory board and looks forward to the immense opportunities the Push Price system will bring to the supermarket industry.

Zack Schwartz

Director of App Development

Zach Schwartz brings a wealth of experience and innovation to our team, with a strong background in managing the development and launch of mobile apps, web apps, and SaaS solutions. With six years of experience in the application industry, Zach has significantly contributed to the success of several high-profile applications, including the Goldie Scheduling App and Buildertrend. His technical expertise and visionary approach have been instrumental in driving these projects to new heights, ensuring their success in a competitive market.

Zach is also channeling his skills into an exciting new venture: a groundbreaking mobile app for Apple Vision Pro. This innovative app aims to revolutionize the virtual therapy industry, specifically designed to support patients diagnosed with agoraphobia. Zach’s commitment to leveraging technology for meaningful impact underscores his dedication to improving lives through cutting-edge solutions. His passion for applications and forward-thinking mindset make him an invaluable asset to our Push Price team.
